St. Anne Orthodox Church, Corvallis, Oregon

“We’ve been wanting to build a church for quite some time,” said Father Stephen Soot, Rector of St. Anne Orthodox Church in Corvallis, Oregon. “We need to expand because we can’t have everyone together in one space.” Father Stephen created a temporary chapel downstairs during the pandemic, where he’d live-stream services to those who couldn’t fit into the nave. The OCCIF board on location!

As we all move forward into Pascha, I want to take a minute to look back on what OCCIF did in 2023. During 2023 we provided loans for new living quarters at the Holy Assumption Monastery in Calistoga, California; helped St Jacob Orthodox Church purchase and convert a building into a new church in Bend, Oregon; and helped St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church in Fenton, Michigan put a new roof on the church.

New and Better Return on the OCCIF Promissory Note

Our Board of Trustees recently held our annual meeting at Elevation of the Holy Cross Church in Sacramento, CA. In discussing the current financial state of the country, we decided to simplify and improve OCCIF’s rate schedule for those wishing to invest capital. Instead of seven different levels, we’ve now simplified the table down to three tiers. Each tier has significantly improved the rate of return for our investors. Please see the new rate table and tiers and consider investing in OCCIF. Charitable alms as a donation to OCCIF would also be appreciated.

$5,000 to $24,999 – 3% Return Rate

$25,000 to $99,999 – 3.5% Return Rate

$100,000 and up – 4% Return Rate
